A company is looking for a VP, Medical Economics to provide executive strategy and leadership in medical economics analysis activities.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze medical cost information to identify trends and underlying causes
Develop executive strategies for the medical economics function and manage team performance
Collaborate with senior leaders to translate analytics into actionable clinical and operational strategies
Required Qualifications
12+ years of healthcare analytics and / or medical economics experience, including 3 years at an executive level
7+ years of management / leadership experience
Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, healthcare management, or a related field
Extensive leadership experience in healthcare economics within complex organizations
Advanced understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, and healthcare financial terms and concepts
