• Annual Patient Volume: The emergency department sees approximately 11,000 visits annually.
• Patient Load: Physicians typically experience single coverage, with about 25 to 30 patient visits per 24 hours.
• Flexible Shift Options: Most providers work 24-hour shifts, but we also offer the option for 12-hour shifts based on preference.
• Shift Hours: The hours are from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Each physician will share an equal mix of day, night, and weekend shifts.
• Location: Our facility is located in a rural town with a population of around 5,000 residents. However, larger towns are less than an hour away. Physicians have the flexibility to block shifts and are not required to reside in the immediate area.

Hospital Facilities:

• Intensive Care Unit (ICU): We have an eight-bed ICU equipped to handle critical care needs.
• Stroke Center: Our facility is a Level 3 stroke center, providing specialized care to patients experiencing stroke symptoms.
• Cutting-edge Technology: We have a portable non-invasive pacemaker available for use in the ICU or during patient transport. Additionally, monitoring services are available in the medical/surgical area.
• Full-Time Physician Staff: The Emergency Department is staffed full-time by dedicated physicians committed to providing high-quality care to our patients.
