Job Description :

As a Body Shop Technician one must perform the following :

• Review repair order to understand the repairs needed.
• Examines damaged vehicle and efficiently plans repair process.
• Check parts to make sure they are correct, perform accurate teardown for estimate purposes, help estimators draft supplements, and safely stores all parts.
• Make repairs to body and frame according to manufacturer and Russell’s operating procedures, sign off quality control check list, verify color match prior to assembly, and review the final repair order to insure all repairs are made as listed on the repair order.
• Operate all equipment in Collision Center in a safe manner
• Maintain stall in an orderly and clean manner
• Perform structural repairs.
• Documents all work performed as soon as the job is completed
• Uses basic mathematical skills to solve simple equations for mixing chemicals
• Understands and follows federal, state and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous wastes
