Automation Personnel Services is looking for skilled Machine Operators on all three shifts to join a premier manufacturing company in Smyrna, GA. This role involves operating both manual and semiautomatic equipment to assist in the production of components used in manufacturing, along with other related assigned duties.Pay Rate
$17.72 per hourSchedule and Hours
Mondays through FridaysFirst Shift 6:00 am to 2:00 pmSecond Shift2:00 pm to 10:00 pmThird Shift10:00pm to 6:00 am*Overtime opportunities are available*Machine OperatorsDuties and Responsibilities• Operate a variety of manual and semiautomatic machinery, including milling machines, lathes, saws, and other precision metal-cutting tools.• Conduct quality inspections using specialized measuring instruments (calipers, gauges) and perform visual checks to confirm parts meet exact specifications.• Use hand tools, such as files and de-burring tools, to refine parts to required tolerances.• Detect and report any production errors or mechanical issues to the Manufacturing Supervisor or Technical Lead.• Follow established procedures and guidelines to achieve quality and productivity targets.• Keep work areas clean, organized, and in compliance with safety standards.• Additional related job duties as assigned by management. Machine OperatorsQualifications and Requirements• High school diploma or GED required.• 1 to 3 years minimum of previous CNC machine operator experience required.• Skilled in the use of hand tools.• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.• High attention to detail.• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.• Knowledge of and adherence to safety policies and procedures.• Drug screening and nationwide background check isrequired.Job Type
