SherlockTalent is seeking a dynamic Business Analyst with strong development skills to help us analyze, design, and implement impactful business metrics and reporting solutions.

As a Business Analyst, you will design, develop, and maintain key business metrics tailored to logistic operational needs. You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify, define, and document critical performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics and supply chain processes. Your responsibilities will include developing and enhancing reports and dashboards using Power BI to provide actionable insights. Additionally, you will write optimized queries and manage data models in Microsoft SQL Server to support reporting requirements.

This role requires close collaboration with end users to gather requirements and ensure reports meet their needs. You will also train and support users on newly developed reports and dashboards, ensuring a seamless transition and help grow adoption. You will analyze current processes and recommend data-driven improvements while bridging the gap between technical teams and business users to deliver successful solutions.

To be successful in this role, you should have proficiency in Power BI for creating dynamic and user-friendly dashboards and advanced skills in Microsoft SQL Server, including query writing, data modeling, and performance optimization. Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business recommendations are essential. You should also have experience working with users to understand reporting requirements and provide training, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate insights and solutions effectively.

You should have at least 3 years of experience in business analytics, reporting, or a related role. Previous experience in the logistics, supply chain, or transportation industry is preferred. Familiarity with other tools or programming languages like Python or R is a plus. Familiarity or interest in AI-driven solutions, such as predictive analytics, OCR, natural language processing, or machine learning, is a significant advantage.
