Reports to: Vice President of Data & Information Systems
Location: Hybrid (Must live in Florida or Texas)
Type: Full-Time; Contract Work

Overview

The Data Analyst ensures BridgePrep’s data is accurate, trusted, and actionable. This role focuses on analyzing datasets, preparing reports, and helping teams understand what the data means. The Data Analyst plays a hands-on role in data cleaning, validation, and quality assurance while supporting decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Perform analysis of academic, operational, and financial datasets.
• Build recurring and ad-hoc reports in Excel, Power BI, and SQL.
• Translate complex data into easy-to-understand insights for stakeholders.

Data Quality & Governance

• Validate datasets for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Support the implementation of data standards and quality checks.
• Work with departments to resolve data entry and validation issues.

Cross-Functional Support

• Collaborate with school and central office teams to understand their data needs.

• Provide one-on-one and small-group support for interpreting reports.
• Help teams integrate data into their daily workflows.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in data analysis or a related role.
• Strong Excel and SQL skills; experience with Power BI preferred.
• Ability to perform quality checks and clean data for reporting.
• Clear communicator who can explain data findings to non-technical users.
• Education experience is a plus; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
