Key Responsibilities

Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas for performance and scalability

Deploy and manage PostgreSQL on AWS RDS, ensuring high availability and security

Support live production deployments and troubleshoot database-related incidents

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; master's degree preferred

5+ years of experience in PostgreSQL administration and performance tuning

Experience managing high-volume, transaction-heavy relational databases

Strong knowledge of SQL tuning, indexing strategies, and partitioning
