About The Position
Full-Time | Level III Trauma Center | Coastal Lifestyle | Expanding Heart Program
Position Overview :
A respected 127-bed Level III Trauma Center on the southern Oregon coast is seeking an experienced Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist to join its expanding and collaborative cardiovascular team. Serving a catchment area of over 320,000, this hospital-based program offers a unique opportunity to practice comprehensive interventional cardiology while enjoying a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
Key Highlights :
Full-scope interventional procedures including PCI and PVI
Clinic, hospital, and cath lab rotation with advanced NP / PA support
Shared STEMI call and general call rotation
Strong primary care and community referral network

Customized orientation based on provider's experience and strengths
Core Responsibilities Include :
Inpatient rounding, outpatient care, diagnostic and interventional cath lab procedures
Cardiac imaging and interpretation : coronary angiograms, ventriculography, IVUS, flow / pressure wire , and more
Interventions : Balloon angioplasty, stenting, thrombectomy, atherectomy, intra-aortic balloon pump , etc.
Optional privileges for PVI, carotid stenting, pacemakers, endovascular grafts based on experience / training
Participation in quality improvement, care planning, and team collaboration
Qualifications (REQUIRED) :
Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine
Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology or Certificate of Added Qualification (AOBIM)
Oregon medical license (or willing to obtain)
Minimum 2 years of interventional experience with at least 150 PCIs over the past 24 months
Ties to Oregon (family in the area or previous residency)
Clean malpractice / background history
Copy of NPDB self-query report
Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates
Locum-to-Perm candidates accepted
