Position Overview

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a dedicated, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join our clinic in Bellmead, located just 15 minutes from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team in a fast-paced, walk-in clinic setting focused on treating minor injuries and illnesses with speed, efficiency, and compassion.

About the Role

As a Family Medicine Physician, you will provide same-day treatment for minor illnesses and injuries in an outpatient setting. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes advanced practice providers, medical assistants, on-site lab/phlebotomy and X-ray technicians, and pharmacy support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide acute care services for minor illnesses and injuries on a walk-in basis
• Deliver efficient, evidence-based care with a focus on patient satisfaction
• Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers
• Coordinate with other providers in the system for referrals and follow-ups
• Participate in shared call responsibilities, triaged through a nurse line
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with clinical standards

• No obstetrics; general family medicine procedures only
• Shared call coverage with nurse triage support
• 1.0 FTE with day of weekly administrative time

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Texas medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
