A company is looking for an IT Firewall Administrator.
Key Responsibilities
Implement, modify, and support firewall, proxy, and IDS / IPS rules in production environments
Analyze and troubleshoot existing firewall and security rules to resolve operational and project-related issues
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to troubleshoot network security challenges
Required Qualifications
Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
4+ years of recent experience implementing and supporting firewall rules in large, complex enterprise environments
Strong understanding of networking and firewalling principles, including segmentation and zoning
Hands-on experience with enterprise firewall platforms such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, and / or Cisco
Working knowledge of F5 LTM and proxy technologies
