[job_card.job_description]Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 0–2 years of experience in systems engineering, software development, or technical support. Fluent in Korean and English (verbal and written). Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and system troubleshooting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access). Familiarity with database management systems and hardware / software integration. Experience in telecommunications, mobile, or network field environments. Prior exposure to product management, technical marketing, or customer-facing engineering roles. Ability to interpret complex customer requirements and translate them into actionable solutions. Experience working with cross-functional teams across geographies. Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, and electronic equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement. Frequent use of computer and video display terminals. Occasional lifting / moving of office equipment and materials. Up to 30% travel to customer sites, trade shows, and HQ Korea.
About the Role
As a Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in bridging technical requirements between our engineering teams and HQ in Korea. You’ll support software and hardware product launches, troubleshoot system issues, and contribute to process improvements across reverse logistics and repair operations. This role requires strong bilingual communication skills, technical acumen, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with HQ Korea and internal teams to define and manage technical requirements for new product introductions (NPI).
- Analyze service return data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Develop and implement product testing, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
- Coordinate database development, including writing and modifying logical and physical descriptions.
- Lead system enhancements for RB-MES applications to improve operational efficiency and data integrity.
- Audit and train third-party vendors on repair processes and standards.
- Prepare and present reports on repair rates, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Support customer satisfaction initiatives through technical issue resolution and proactive communication.
