We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Packaging Engineer with expertise in SolidWorks to join our team. This role focuses on optimizing packaging solutions for materials shipped from overseas, with a primary goal of reducing freight costs while ensuring product integrity.

What You Will Do

  • Design and develop packaging solutions using SolidWorks.
  • Evaluate current packaging methods and identify opportunities for cost-saving improvements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to optimize packaging for overseas shipping.
  • Conduct material testing to ensure packaging durability and compliance with shipping standards.
  • Generate detailed packaging documentation, including CAD drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor and analyze freight costs and implement strategies to minimize expenses.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks for packaging design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with packaging materials and freight optimization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
