Pellet Mill Operator needed ASAP!

Pay Rate = $19

Core Responsibilities :

• Machine operation :

Start, run, and monitor the pelletizing equipment, adjusting settings for optimal performance, yield, and quality.

Perform in-process testing and checks to ensure pellets meet specifications, using tools like calipers and scales.

Perform preventative maintenance, such as lubricating parts and changing filters, and clean the machinery and work area to maintain a safe and efficient environment.

Identify and address equipment malfunctions, clear jams, and report major issues to supervisors or maintenance staff.

Maintain detailed logs of production data, quality control results, and any issues encountered during the shift.

Required skills and qualities :

A basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems is beneficial for operating and maintaining the equipment.

Adherence to all safety procedures and the ability to identify and correct unsafe conditions is critical.

Must be able to notice small variations in the process and product, and follow instructions carefully.

The ability to work efficiently and accurately, and to take initiative to solve problems without constant supervision.

Experience with production processes and data entry is often required.
