Responsibilities
The Manufacturing Assembler position is part of the Production Team. This is a full-time, hourly non-exempt position. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Some examples of these responsibilities are listed below (but are not limited to the following :
Position reports to : Department Lead
Review and retrieve required inventory parts on schematics, drawings or work instructions.Perform simple to complex assembly operations.Test and inspect product to ensure specifications are met.Report any deficiency to the DepartmentFollow department processes to ensure ISO compliance.Possess some electrical and mechanical knowledge.Ability to use small hand tools including but not limited to cutters, strippers, crimpers and screwdrivers.Ability to use basic judgment in quality analysis and communicate with Department Lead any discrepancies.Proactively seek opportunities to improve workplace environment and safety conditions.Maintain clean, neat, safe and orderly work area.Attend work regularly and promptly.Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.Attend and participate in all required training.Attend and participate in all departmental meetings.Other essential duties as assigned.Qualifications / Competencies
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.Basic math skillsAble to use small hand tools.Adheres to quality standard and safety standardsPreferred Qualifications (Not Required)
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, machinery, tools, and quality control procedures.Physical ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 pounds.Able to read diagrams, and understand basic electrical and mechanical conceptsSystems Used
