Senior Manager, Optical Laboratory - Manufacturing

Job Summary : Leads all aspects of our Northern

California Optical Manufacturing Lab in Richmond, CA Leads / manages

a team of 110+ FTEs and 5 direct reports producing 450K eyeglass

orders per year Optimizes productivity while achieving quality

eyeglasses and high member satisfaction Leads teams to achieve key

metrics including Turnaround Time (TAT), quality, first pass yield,

and other member satisfaction metrics Ensures compliance with

safety rules, policies, procedures and KPs Principles of

Responsibility Identifies opportunities and creates action plans

for improved efficiencies and productivity Supports employee

engagement to fulfill our vision of service / quality excellence Must

be capable to lead in Labor Management Partnership environment

Leads 24-hour x 5 days per week manufacturing organization with

110+ FTEs to support eyeglass manufacturing of 10,000 orders per

week. Location : Richmond, CA (Onsite) Currently 0% remote, but we

have opportunities remote work perhaps one day per week. Based out

of Optical Manufacturing Lab at 930 Marina Way South Richmond, CA

94804 Required Skills Bachelors degree in Business Management,

Business Administration, Science, Technology, Engineering, or

Mathematics (STEM), or related field AND minimum eight (8) years of

experience in an optical lab Preferred or Nice-to-have Skills

Preferred Qualifications : Optician Certification from the American

Board of Opticianry. Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.

Manufacturing experience Supply Chain Management Years of

Experience : minimum eight (8) years of experience in an optical lab

environment or directly related field OR Minimum eleven (11) years

of experience in an optical lab environment or a directly related

field. Industry Experience : Manufacturing and / or Optical

Laboratory Education Requirements : Bachelors degree
