Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This position is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to oversee and manage all aspects of our construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Responsibilities :

As a Project Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to :

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management from initiation to completion.

2. Developing comprehensive project plans and coordinating with team members to ensure on-time, under-budget project execution.

3. Managing the financial aspects of contracts, to protect the company’s interest and simultaneously maintain a good relationship with clients.

4. Reviewing and interpreting project plans and specifications to ensure project timeline, efficiency, and accuracy.

5. Implementing effective communication plan and operating rhythm, ensuring timely and accurate information sharing with all stakeholders.

6. Identifying and managing potential risks or hurdles, providing solutions where applicable to ensure the project stays on track.

7. Ensuring construction projects adhere to all building codes, legal requirements, safety standards, and ethical practices.

8. Negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.

9. Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for the role of a Project Manager should possess the following qualifications :

1. A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry.

2. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred. NOT REQUIRED

3. Proven track record of managing large scale construction projects from initiation to completion.

4. In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.

5. Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.

6. Exceptional leadership, organizational, time-management, and decision-making skills.

7. Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining control of project execution.

8. Superior negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.

9. Proficiency in project management software tools.

10. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
