Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to our customers. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, as well as experience with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and various automotive systems, including powertrain and diesel engine repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using advanced diagnostic equipment and software.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with service advisors to communicate findings and provide recommendations for repairs.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques, particularly in ADAS systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Document all repairs and services performed accurately in the companys system.
• Assist in training junior technicians as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive diagnostics and repair, preferably within a dealership environment.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including powertrain components and diesel engine repair.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Familiarity with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Certification from an accredited automotive program is a plus.
