Summary :

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care to law enforcement trainees and staff at FLETC training sites. This role supports the delivery of high-quality healthcare services in accordance with FLETC Directive 248-01 and federal occupational health standards, including treatment of minor injuries, health screenings, and coordination of care.

There will be one Registered Nurse assigned to each FLETC site : Artesia, Charleston, and Glynco.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions :

• Provide nursing care including assessments, treatments, and health education for trainees and staff
• Administer medications
• Advise patients that prescriptions that must be filled off-site at their own expense
• Ensure medications are stocked and reordered based on projected needs
• Assist in the documentation and treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses :

Support completion of the TAIRS electronic questionnaire
