Skilled Home Health Nurse - Infusion Experience Required

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shifts, 5x8 hours, with varying hours based on office needs. Possible shifts include Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm, 9am to 6pm, and alternating weekend shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled home health nurse with expertise in infusion therapy. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in skilled home care and must not only have private duty nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform home skilled visits, averaging 6-8 per day.
• Conduct cardiopulmonary assessments and basic wound care.
• Administer injections and manage IV and catheter care.
• Utilize portable equipment and technology for patient care documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients and interdisciplinary teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of skilled home health experience with OASIS training.
• Infusion therapy experience is a must.
• General medical diagnosis experience, including high-risk conditions such as HF, COPD, MI, pneumonia, and stroke.
• Certification: BCLS required.
• Valid Florida nursing license or compact license.
