Summary
The Program Control Manager will support planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting for diverse programs. This role collaborates closely with program teams to create and maintain schedules, establish cost baselines, and manage Estimates At Complete. The manager will co-own financial and scheduling performance with the Program Manager, leveraging Earned Value Management principles to provide actionable performance insights. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with company processes, advising on technical aspects of programs, presenting program status to leadership, overseeing risk registers, and managing scope, schedule, and cost changes. Daily interaction with Program Managers, finance, engineering, and cross-functional teams is required to drive program and professional success.
Duties & Responsibilities
Establish schedule and cost baselines with Program Manager
Track and report schedule and program performance monthly
Update Estimates At Complete monthly
Review and approve procurement requests
Analyze labor reports and guide the team
Maintain and update the Risk Register with mitigation plans
Review financial obligations
Qualifications :
Proven experience establishing schedule and cost baselines with Program Managers
Experience tracking and reporting program performance
Ability to update Estimates At Complete and monitor program finances
Familiarity with procurement and labor reporting processes
Experience managing risk registers and mitigation plans
Strong understanding of program scope, schedule, and cost management
Master’s Degree in Business or Finance
Experience with Project and Oracle systems
Knowledge of Risk and Opportunity Management processes
Understanding of Government DoD contracts, Cost Accounting Standards, and FAR compliance
