Based in Houston, Texas, Saber Power offers deep subject matter expertise and uses an engineering-led approach to designing, installing, testing, and maintaining medium and high-voltage electrical infrastructure. Saber serves clients locally, nationally, and abroad.

Saber Power Services seeks a motivated and safety-minded Apprentice Electrician to support our licensed Journeyman and Master Electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This role is designed for individuals looking to build a long-term career in the electrical trade, with hands-on experience in both low and high voltage environments, including substations, transmission, and distribution systems.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Assist electricians with the installation of electrical equipment, conduit, wire, transformers, breakers, and grounding systems.
• Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Pull wire, bend conduit, and install cable trays and panels under supervision.
• Maintain tools and equipment in a clean and safe working order.
• Follow all safety protocols, including lockout / tagout and arc flash procedures.
• Support job site clean-up and material organization.
• Attend and complete classroom and on-the-job training per state or union apprenticeship program standards.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested by management.
