Manufacturing Engineering Development Manager

Location : Plymouth, MI, 48170

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineering Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products are manufactured efficiently and cost-effectively while meeting quality standards.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead a team of engineers in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products are manufactured efficiently and cost-effectively
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve manufacturing processes and reduce costs
  • Identify and implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance manufacturing capabilities
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering
  • Previous experience in a leadership or management role
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
