Technical Analyst

Leidos is seeking a Technical Analyst to be part of the mission solution and help lead SSAs Digital Modernization Strategy. Join one of our high performing teams responsible for building the next-generation enterprise APIs and modern responsive user interfaces supporting the Social Security Administration (SSA) and their mission to meet the changing needs of the public positively impacting at least 65 million American lives per month. Defining and documenting system requirements.

Creating test plans and test cases.

Using Agile methodologies in all aspects of the role.

Writing Technical White Papers.

Creating and maintain data flow diagrams.

All other duties as assigned or directed.

FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS ( Basic Qualifications )

Bachelors degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Proficient in defining system documentation requirements based on input from technical personnel.

Experience creating test plan test cases and test execution.

Strong experience working in an Agile methodology.

Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and CMMI Level 3 Methodologies.

Experience in UML diagramming and design documentation.

Knowledge of creating and maintaining Data Flow Diagrams and developing Use Cases.

Exposure to writing Technical White Papers and systems design documents.

Strong communication and technical writing skills.

Communication skills to present ideas and concepts effectively; strong and proven problem solving.

Self-managed with the ability to mentor others.

Strong experience with ALM to managerequirements.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.

HOW TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD (Desired Skills)

Showcase your knowledge of modern development through the following experience or skills :

Database experience such as Oracle DB2 SQL Server SQL and JDBC.

Familiarity with project management frameworks.

Previous experience with Social Security Administration.

Agile certification.

Experience with Automation testing tools.

Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) preferred.

Pay Range $92300.00 - $166850.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
