DS Technologies Inc is looking for VIM ABAP Developer role for one of our premier clients.

Job Title : VIM ABAP Developer

Location : Remote Position Type : Contract Only W2

Description :

Important : This position is NOT suitable for general ABAP developers. Candidates must have proven, hands-on experience working specifically with SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM), including custom development, enhancements, and integrations.

This role is strictly for practitioners with deep, real-world VIM ABAP development experience.

Key Responsibilities

Perform hands-on ABAP development within SAP VIM, including enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and custom reports.

Design and develop VIM DRC (Document Reporting & Compliance) integration solutions.

Support and execute S / 4HANA Clean Core assessments with a strong focus on VIM-related custom code.

Analyze existing VIM solutions and recommend clean-core–compliant remediation strategies.

Work closely with functional teams to translate VIM business requirements into technical solutions.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize VIM ABAP developments in S / 4HANA environments.

Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, performance standards, and coding guidelines.

Mandatory Skills & Experience :

Strong, hands-on ABAP development experience specifically in SAP VIM

VIM Enhancements, User Exits, BADIs, and custom workflows

VIM invoice processing, approval workflows, and exception handling

VIM DRC integration development experience

S / 4HANA Clean Core assessment experience, particularly for VIM-related objects

Experience working in S / 4HANA environments

Strong debugging, performance tuning, and code remediation skills
