Certification(s) from ASE or other recognized automotive programs (or a willingness to earn them). High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments, ensuring clear communication and workflow efficiency. Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician in a dealership or auto repair shop. Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment . Experience working with electronic diagnostic tools, repair manuals, and manufacturer guidelines. Valid driver’s license. Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment. 401(k) Retirement Plan – 100% match on the first 3% of contributions, followed by a 50% match on the next 2%. Position Overview : As an Automotive Technician / Mechanic, you will play a critical role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure safety and performance. What You’ll Do :
- Perform detailed vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs, ensuring all work is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Identify necessary repairs, replacement parts, and required labor, proactively communicating needs to the appropriate departments.
- Execute mechanical and electrical repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, following all company policies and procedures.
- Ensure all repairs meet quality control standards and that completed work is thoroughly tested before vehicle release.
