The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the general operation and maintenance of all building equipment and systems. General knowledge of installation and repair of all phases of refrigeration, plumbing and electrical systems of the W. Wiley Federal Building.

Schedule : 10am - 6pm

Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions :
- Quickly respond to hot / cold calls from clients or tenants.
- Participate in preparing the building and its systems for significant weather changes from summer to winter.
- Perform basic plumbing repairs such as leaky pipes or replacing flushometers.
- Work with the Chief or Lead Engineer in gaining additional knowledge of the trades.
- Perform daily work load with little or no supervision.
- Work directly with the co-workers in accessing, addressing and solving challenges as they arise.
- Other duties as assigned.

Mandatory :
High School diploma or GED required.4 years’ experience in the operations and maintenance field.Experience working in a government facility.Basic HVAC; CFC Universal.Working Conditions :
