CMM Operator - Miramar Location Primary Objective

Conduct mechanical and visual inspections of machined parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies based on customer blueprints and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections .
• Verify materials, processes, and certifications from sub-tier vendors.
• Complete all paperwork per AS9100 standards .
• Calibrate inspection tools and enforce quality system procedures (ISO, military, and customer specs).
• Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of tools and stock.
• Assist in training other inspectors.
• May require hazardous material handling training. (monster.com)

Qualifications

Minimum 4–8 years in mechanical inspection (varies by listing).

Proficient in CMM programming (Mitutoyo Geomeasure 6000 and / or PC-DMIS 4.2 or later).

Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00 / hr.
