Geotechnical Internship (Level 3)

Responsibilities

• Assisting with management of geotechnical projects
• Assisting with performing and / or recommending lab testing
• Assisting with foundation analysis and recommendations
• Scheduling of drill rigs for geotechnical projects
• Obtaining utility clearance for subsurface explorations
• Assisting with determining appropriate subsurface exploration program and preparing drilling instructions
• Classifying soil samples
• Performing hand augers to obtain subsurface information and soil samples
• Observing of foundation or ground improvement installations
• Assisting with preparation of proposals

Qualifications

The expected pay range for this role and location is $20-$24 / hour. The final agreed-upon compensation will be determined based on specific location and other individual qualifications.
