Security Officer - Logistics Patrols PT

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols and providing outstanding customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Pay Rate : $18.56 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Sat 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal's protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or potential issues.
  • Monitor access points and observe activities within the logistics and distribution environment to help to deter unauthorized entry and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and delivery personnel as required.
  • Document and report any unusual incidents, security-related concerns, or emergencies according to Allied Universal and client site procedures.
  • Participate in emergency response activities as needed, supporting the site's operational continuity.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
