[job_card.job_description]Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and post orders at an aerospace and defense location. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production and office areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns through the appropriate channels. Control access by checking identification, verifying authorization, and supporting visitor management processes in accordance with site requirements. Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and escalating to site leadership and / or emergency services as needed. Operate and monitor security-related systems such as cameras, access control, radios, and alarm panels, completing reports and shift logs with accurate, timely details. Have 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and / or security experience OR a college degree. Possess an armed guard card / license. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Have 5+ years of security experience. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Palmdale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with clear communication and customer service. This is an armed and driving post requiring an armed guard card / license and a valid driver's license.
