Job Summary And Responsibilities :

Responsible for assisting physicians and nurses in providing quality patient care. Essential responsibilities include :

• Collect appropriate data and perform testing to prepare patient for physician visit.
• Maintain patient flow through the clinic.
• Pull patient voicemails and process messages to the nurses as appropriate.
• Complete patient refills as requested by both patient and pharmacy, ensuring appropriate labs are ordered as needed and protocol is followed.
• Assist nurses with patient messages as necessary.
• Assist nurses with reviewing physician blue book as necessary.

Job Requirements :

Education : Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program.

License / Certification : BLS Certification + AAMA-CMA; AMT-RMA; NCCT-NCMA; or NHA-CCMA.

Qualifications : Medical office experience preferred.
