Description : ABA Therapist

Summary : Responsible for providing intensive, 1 : 1, behavior intervention services based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Clients include children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other language delays.

Responsibilities :

• Providing direct 1 : 1 therapy session
• Implementing all skill acquisition programs & maintenance programs
• Collecting accurate data
• Implementing all behavior protocols & FBA / BIPs as provided
• Completes insurance forms daily
• Completes daily cleaning checklist
• Attends & implements feedback from weekly supervision with POD Managers
• Contacts POD Manager when appropriate with pertinent information for each client
• Attends & maintains all outside training certifications (CPI, CPR, First Aid, etc.)
• Obtain & maintains RBT certification
• Follows all mandated reporter standards
• Works well with team & demonstrates professionalism in workplace
• Demonstrates creativity & “think outside the box” attitude to provide support and achieve positive outcomes for all clients
• Consistently builds rapport with clients & families to achieve best possible outcomes
