DIVISION CHIEF of PEDIATRIC EMERGENCY MEDICINE

Mobile, Alabama

Have you've ever dreamed of leading a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Division and living where people vacation-this might be your moment!

The Medicus Firm has partnered with USA Health in sunny Mobile, Alabama (yes, where winter coats are optional), looking for a visionary, collaborative, and academically driven physician to serve as the next Division Chief of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine.

In this role, you'll get to :

  • Lead a state-of-the-art 26-bed ED at the region's only pediatric acute care facility
  • Shape the future of pediatric emergency medicine with innovation, research, and a strong cup of coffee
  • Recruit and mentor the next generation of PEM rockstars
  • Collaborate across specialties to deliver world-class care to Mobile's kids and their families
  • Build a brand-new PEM fellowship-because who doesn't love launching something great?

Qualifications

  • MD or DO with board certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
  • Eligibility to obtain medical licensure in Alabama.
  • Academic rank preference of Associate or Full Professor at the University of South Alabama.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
