Senior Strategic Advisor (Decarbonization & Corporate Partnerships)

Vectors Capital is a Silicon Valley–based venture capital firm investing in frontier decarbonization, climate technologies, and cross‑border innovation.

We are launching the $100M Vectors Decarbonization Partnership Fund, a multi‑corporate climate innovation fund designed to bring together leading global corporations as LPs and co‑create the next generation of climate solutions.

Our portfolio spans deeptech and climate tech across energy, industrials, advanced materials, data center efficiency, transportation, circularity, and biomanufacturing.

Role Overview

Vectors Capital is inviting an accomplished Strategic Advisor to help expand our corporate network, strengthen our LP partnerships, and support our investment strategy in decarbonization.

The ideal advisor has experience working with or investing in startups from a corporate standpoint, understands how innovation becomes commercialized, and has actively engaged in corporate‑startup partnerships, CVC activities, or strategic technology scouting.

Decarbonization is inherently global. We are seeking a leader who shares our belief in cross‑border collaboration and can contribute their expertise, judgment, and network to help scale impactful climate solutions worldwide.

This role is part‑time, remote, flexible, and built around your availability.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate introductions to senior corporate leaders (C‑suite, EVP, SVP, VP) across relevant industries

Provide high‑level insights on decarbonization, climate innovation, and emerging technologies

Support corporate LP engagement for our $100M fund

Advise on sector theses, due diligence, and investment opportunities (as relevant)

Participate in optional founder evaluations, innovation challenges, or industry events

Serve as a senior ambassador for Vectors Capital within your network and sector

Ideal Candidate

Former or current C‑suite, EVP / SVP, Board Member, Partner, global policy leader, or industry thought leader

Deep expertise in one or more decarbonization‑relevant sectors, including energy, industrials, chemicals, aviation, utilities, logistics, semiconductors / electronics, materials, manufacturing, or data centers

Strong existing relationships with senior decision‑makers in global corporations

Recognized credibility and influence within your industry or region

Genuine passion for climate solutions and supporting next‑generation founders

Global mindset and ability to engage across the U.S., Europe, and Asia
