Key Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced radiography and CT techniques to achieve superior diagnostic images for physician assessment
- Engage collaboratively with radiologists and the larger medical team to facilitate precise diagnoses
- Expertly position patients and calibrate machinery for optimal imaging results
- Implement thorough radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
- Maintain accurate records, including imaging logs and equipment upkeep
- Deliver compassionate care throughout the imaging experience
- Promote an organized, efficient, and safe imaging workspace
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is essential; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Graduation from an accredited imaging program
- ARRT certification (in CT and/or Radiography)
- Active BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
- Strong grasp of diagnostic imaging protocols and adherence to safety standards
- Exceptional communication capabilities with patients and interdisciplinary team members
- Adaptability to a bustling work environment and an ability to respond to evolving demands
- A keen eye for detail coupled with a profound sense of responsibility
- Proficiency with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging software
