Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care, particularly in areas such as memory care and long-term care. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, financial acumen, and a commitment to providing high-quality care to our residents. The Nursing Home Administrator will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations, managing staff, and fostering a positive environment for both residents and employees.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of facility operations, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Manage daily operations to ensure the highest standards of care for residents in assisted living and long-term care settings.

Supervise and support nursing staff in medication administration and other clinical practices.

Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance the quality of resident care.

Collaborate with social workers to address the needs of residents and their families effectively.

Maintain financial oversight, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.

Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes teamwork, professional development, and employee satisfaction.

Ensure that all staff are trained in best practices for memory care and senior living services.

Qualifications

Proven experience in operations management within a nursing home or similar healthcare setting.

Strong understanding of senior care principles, including memory care practices.

Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.

Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and resource management.

Knowledge of medication administration protocols and regulatory compliance requirements.

Background in social work or related fields is a plus.

Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, staff, and regulatory agencies.

A valid nursing home administrator license or certification as required by state regulations.
