Job Title : Assembly Technician II, Mechanical
FLSA Status : Nonexempt
Department : Supply Chain
Reports to : Manager, Fleet Production & Service LTI
GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE :
The Assembly Technician II, Mechanical is responsible for assembly, parts ordering, troubleshooting, prototype building and testing in the shop and field. Job functions will be a mix of working in teams and as an individual.

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : High School Diploma or GED
Experience : 3+ years’ experience of mechanical work
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : Associates degree in a related field or a Technical degree
Experience : Welding experience
Licenses / Certifications : Maintain Mechanical Training – Technical Electric, Hydraulic, or Maintenance
Obtain and maintain Railroad Certifications and CDL

Compensation :
Loram determines compensation based on factors such as skills, competencies, education, and / or experience. Certain positions may be eligible for an annual bonus and paid time off in addition to base compensation.
