Job Title : Electrical Superintendent
Location : Lorton, VA
Salary : $100,000 annually (based on experience)
About the Position :
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead and oversee commercial electrical projects in the Lorton, VA area. This position is responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex electrical systems across a wide range of project types, including :
- Hospitals, Clinics, Laboratories, Rehabilitation, Physical Therapy, and Diagnostic Centers
- Heavy-up and Service Upgrades
- Design-Build Projects
- Ground-Up Construction (new service, transformers, power conduits, and site lighting)
- Generator Installations
- Retail and Restaurants
- Industrial Warehouse Spaces
- Small to Multi-Floor Tenant Fit-Outs and Renovations
- Government, Military, and Secure Facilities
- Lighting Retrofits and Upgrades
- Big Box Retail
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee all phases of on-site electrical construction activities, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and schedules.Manage and mentor field personnel, ensuring efficient workflows and adherence to safety and quality standards.Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to maintain project progress and resolve any field challenges.Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project documents.Maintain daily reports, logs, and project documentation.Ensure compliance with all company policies, OSHA regulations, and local electrical codes.Foster a team-oriented environment built on accountability, communication, and safety.Non-Negotiable Requirements :
Strong leadership presence with proven administrative and organizational skills.Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple crews and manage large-scale commercial projects.Qualifications :
Minimum of 7 years of commercial electrical experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or superintendent capacity.In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, installation practices, and industry codes.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.OSHA 30 certification preferred.Compensation & Benefits :
