A company is looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to serve as a BI subject matter expert within the Data team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead discovery sessions to translate business questions into structured data requirements and maintain analytics documentation
Own analytics data storage strategy and design dimensional models while ensuring compliance with data governance standards
Evaluate and select BI tools, design customer-facing reporting solutions, and support analytics applications
Required Qualifications
Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning concepts in analytics architecture
Advanced SQL skills across Snowflake, SQL Server, and Postgres
Strong dimensional modeling experience, including star schema and data marts
Experience with dbt and modern ELT / analytics engineering practices
Preferred experience in healthcare, claims, or HIPAA-compliant data
