Overview
We are seeking a motivated FAAS Manager specializing in controllership process improvements to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in enhancing controllership processes through innovative solutions and technology.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification required. Five to seven years of experience in public accounting, financial advisory, industry, or a related field. Thorough understanding of finance and accounting processes, including upstream business processes. Operational accounting experience is a plus. Strong PowerPoint, Excel, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proficiency in data analysis. Familiarity with AI, automation, and dashboarding tools and their application in accounting and finance. Knowledge and / or experience with digital technologies and their impact on the record to report process including analytical tools, close and reporting tools, and ERP systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative, lead, and think outside the box. The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. Access to reliable transportation to / from the EY office and client sites. A driver's license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.
Ideally, you'll also have a master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or complementary discipline such as data analytics.
