Maintenance Technician

Arc Broward is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team.

About the Role : Maintenance Technician

  • Provide monthly fire, safety, and health inspections.
  • Maintain physical facilities in good working order (i.e., heating, and air-conditioning units, electrical fixtures, plumbing, furniture, appliances, and miscellaneous items).
  • Test and document results of fire and smoke alarms on a monthly basis.
  • Paint and repair walls as necessary.
  • Maintain grounds including parking lot, sprinkler system, and outdoor lights.
  • Maintain clean air vents and change air filters monthly.

    • What are the requirements?

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must have a minimum of 1-3 years related experience.
  • Valid FL driver’s license and successful Level II background check, physical and drug screen.
  • Must be 21 years older or older.
  • Effective communication skills with verbal and written English fluency required.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
  • Capable of standing, walking, lifting heavy objects, operating medium weight cleaning equipment
  • Must be available to respond to emergencies.
