Forklift Operator

Wage : $17.00 per hour

Shift : 1st

Hours : 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm (Monday - Friday)

QPS Employment Group has a great Forklift Operator position available at a company in Davenport, IA. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. At least three years of prior shipping / receiving forklift experience required for this role. Apply today!

Forklift Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Unload and load shipments, verifying merchandise matches shipping documents
  • Move merchandise to storage properly documenting locations and reporting any shipment discrepancies
  • Pick orders and prepares for shipment, ensuring the exact number and type of product is ready for shipment
  • Keep accurate records of stock moves, receipts, and shipments with use of electronic tablets
  • Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner (Only after training and certification by the client)
  • Maintain clean work area

Forklift Operator Requirements :

  • At least three years of previous forklift experience
  • Previous exposure to warehouse environment preferred
  • Able to sit for a majority of shift
  • Able to grasp steering wheel and controls for entire shift
  • Able to lift 50lbs occasionally throughout shift
  • Able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
