We are seeking a full-time Crisis Support Specialist for our Chicago NYAP Center for Family Engagement and Well-Being program. The schedule is WednesdaySunday 5 p.m.1 a.m. with Mondays and Tuesdays off.

This role includes four additional on-call hours to support weekend coverage (Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m.5 p.m.). The on-call rotation coverage will involve splitting the 8hr shift. Flexibility is essential as support may be needed by phone or in person.

Starting salary : $48000 per year depending on degree and addition there is a $200 weekend on-call bonus for any weekend the employee is scheduled to be on call.

Position Summary

The Crisis Support Specialist works to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families served by the National Youth Advocate Program. This position is responsible for taking after hours calls from the answering service to provide support answer questions address comments and / or concerns and respond with the appropriate actions
