My ex husband has moved out of state and I have no family here. I am looking for someone who can step in and join our family when needed. My balance of sick days is dangerously low, so I really need someone who can be on call and willing to come hang out with my kids, make sure they get medicine, fed, watch some cartoons and movies with them, and make sure they get a nap while they’re home. If I have to be in 2 places at once, I need to find someone I trust to help with that too, although those conflicts have been minimum so far thankfully. I’m just thinking for the future.
My kiddos are very funny and sweet and they would love to get to know you, as would I (their mom)! My perfect person would be patient, engaging, able to handle sibling disputes, good with boys and girls, caring, and able to drive. I’d prefer someone that is in college or older simply because of the sick days thing, but I'd consider a very responsible high school student. If you’re older and the grandmotherly type with an open schedule, that would be awesome. Or if you’re a stay at home mom with a little one, looking to help a fellow mama out, get out of the house occasionally, and make a little bit of extra money, my kids are amazing with younger kids! We both win! : )
Also, we have a 4 year old bichon. His name is Mello (my kids named him - he looks like a marshmallow). He’s protective of our home and family, so he barks at strangers, but once he knows you’re good people, he’s a super sweet dog and really good with children! He loves belly rubs and playing fetch. : )
