Qualifications
- Graduate of a CAPTE accredited 2 year associate PTA degree program
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a PTA in this state
- Current CPR Certification
- Minimum 1-year recent work experience as a PTA

This position is crucial in providing quality patient care to individuals and their families during significant times in their livesAs a PTA, you will conduct treatments as assigned by the Physical Therapist (PT) and outlined in the treatment plan, ensuring that each patient receives personalized care in the comfort of their own homeIn this role, you will be responsible for conducting various treatments that focus on muscle strengthening, coordination, mobility, sensory awareness, and balance activitiesYou will monitor each patient's response to interventions and consult with the PT for any necessary modifications to the treatment planAdditionally, you will play a vital role in training and educating patients, families, and caregivers on the use of assistive devices, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge to support their loved ones effectivelyYou will have the opportunity to participate in weekly team meetings to discuss patient care plans, allowing for a comprehensive approach to treatmentWe believe in building strong relationships with our patients and their families, and we provide the training, support, and resources necessary to help you fulfill your passion for healthcareConduct treatments associated with muscle strengthening, coordination, mobility, sensory awareness, sitting and standing, transfer training, balance activities, gait training, range of motion activities and modalitiesMonitor patient's response to intervention and consult with the Physical Therapist if modification is requiredTrain and educate patient, family, and caregivers in the use of assistive devicesAssist the PT in the evaluation process and in identifying short-term and long-term goals and treatment plansThe employer for this position is stated in the job posting.
