Software QA

Entry Level

• Skills :

Must possess knowledge of software QA principles and processes.

Demonstrate proficiency in at least one software development language (Java, Python, .NET, or Ruby).

Demonstrate a basic understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile development methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).

Demonstrate basic experience with containerization platform tools (EX : Docker).

Must be detail-oriented, demonstrate clarity, and work well as a team member.

Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Additional Skills & Qualifications :

An Associate's degree in IT or an equivalent field is required.

Bachelor’s degree in IT or an equivalent field is desired.

One or more years working in software testing or software development.

Certifications within the software development or software testing disciplines are desired.

• Description :

Assist with designing, developing, and maintaining an enterprise test automation framework.

Assist with converting business requirements into technical specifications for test scripts.

Adhere to “best practice” coding techniques and standards.

Assist during project planning activities to validate test automation scope and estimates.

Participate in pair programming with test automation team members.

Participate in daily stand-ups, communicating effectively with project managers and team members.

Participate in writing detailed technical and functional specification documentation and coding standards.

Compile test results and communicate with project team members.

Assist to implement test automation practices within the Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment pipeline.

Utilize tools and procedures to monitor and supplement automated testing.

Complete other projects as assigned.
