Locum Tenens OB / GYN Opportunity Near Oak Harbor, WA

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated OB / GYN physician for a locum tenens position near Oak Harbor, WA. This role is essential to provide comprehensive OB / GYN care and coverage during a period of medical leave. The position is open for an immediate start and will continue on an ongoing basis, offering an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, patient-centered environment within a critical access hospital and clinic.

Position Overview :

• Position : Locum Tenens OB / GYN Physician
• Location : Near Oak Harbor, WA
• Dates : ASAP - Ongoing
• Shift Type : 24-Hour Call
• On Call Requirements :

7-8 shifts per month

3 clinic days per week, 3 weeks per month preferred

Multiple part-time locums accepted to fill the schedule, with a preference for one consistent provider for clinic days

Key Responsibilities :

Provide comprehensive OB / GYN care in a clinic setting, including routine and high-risk obstetric care, gynecological consultations, and follow-up visits.

Provide 24-hour call coverage, including attending to obstetric emergencies and gynecological surgeries through the L&D unit and the Emergency Department.

Work closely with a team of 2 OB / GYNs, 2 Family Practice with OB (FPBO) physicians, and 2 Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) in a collaborative care model.

Facility and Support :

In the clinic : MA or LPN support.

Requirements :

Competence in handling both low-risk and high-risk obstetric cases, including the interpretation of fetal heart rate (FHR) monitoring.
