Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Packaging Operator to join their team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the packaging process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location : East Durham, NY

Pay Range : $24.75

Shift : 12.5-hour shifts, 2 / 2 / 3 rotation, 7 : 00 pm - 7 : 30 am

What's the Job?

• Operate state-of-the-art fully automated toothpaste packaging lines at speeds up to 450 tubes per minute
• Handle packaging materials including cases, cartons, shippers, labels, caps, and pallets
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment to ensure optimal operation
• Perform autonomous maintenance activities and assist technicians with preventive maintenance
• Conduct inventory checks and manage packaging materials and finished goods
