The Role

We’re seeking an exceptional Head of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering organization as we redefine social commerce. You’ll partner with our founders to shape both the technical architecture and engineering culture that will power millions of authentic brand‑community interactions. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical excellence, team building, and rapid execution.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build & Lead the Engineering Team: Scale our engineering organization establishing a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and rapid delivery while maintaining our startup agility
• Drive Technical Strategy: Partner with the CTO to define our technical roadmap, making critical architecture decisions around infrastructure, platform stability, and resourcing
• Own End-to-End Delivery: Take full responsibility for engineering execution, from sprint planning to production deployments, ensuring we ship quality features that delight customers
• Establish Engineering Excellence: Implement best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response while balancing speed with reliability
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Customer Success to translate business needs into technical solutions that drive revenue
• Scale Our AI Systems: Oversee the development of robust infrastructure for AI agents

What We’re Looking For

• Engineering Leadership Experience: 5+ years of engineering experience with 2+ years leading and scaling engineering teams (10+ engineers)
• Technical Depth: Proven track record architecting and operating production systems at scale
• Startup DNA: Comfortable with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and the ability to balance technical debt with shipping velocity
• People Leadership: Demonstrated ability to recruit, mentor, and retain exceptional engineering talent while building inclusive, high‑performing teams
• Executive Presence: Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders, from board members to enterprise customers
