Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrols Full-Time

As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrols Full-Time in Hopewell Junction, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations within a dynamic tech environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a secure setting, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $18.62 - $19.62 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeMon 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Tue 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sat 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sun 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and maintaining a visible presence.
  • Monitor site conditions and report any unusual or suspicious activity according to established protocols.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access and / or directions as needed while maintaining security-related protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support security-related operations in a technology-focused environment.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
